VP of Operations
Jobgether
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and scaling the internal operational backbone of a fast-growing, technology-driven logistics company. You will sit directly under the CEO and act as a central operator across finance, HR, payroll, legal, compliance, and executive support functions. The role blends strategy and hands-on execution, requiring someone who can both design scalable systems and dive deep into operational and financial detail when needed. You will be accountable for ensuring the organization runs smoothly while enabling rapid growth without operational breakdowns. Acting as a key partner to executive leadership, you will help guide resource allocation, organizational design, and business health. This is a builder role for a leader who thrives in ambiguity and takes ownership across multiple functions simultaneously.

- Own payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, vendor oversight, and financial reporting, with hands-on involvement in financial data and analysis
- Analyze financials directly, identifying risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities rather than relying solely on downstream interpretation
- Build and maintain operational systems and internal processes that scale with rapid business growth
- Lead people operations including onboarding, benefits administration, HR policies, and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on contracts, employment matters, compliance, and risk management
- Oversee executive support functions, ensuring leadership is effectively supported and able to focus on strategic priorities

- Ability to work directly with financial data, identify issues, and drive corrective actions independently
- Working knowledge of HR, payroll, compliance, and employment law fundamentals
