We're conducting a search for a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis for a fast-growing, private equity-backed platform company based in Tampa, FL. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, acquisition-driven environment.

Reporting to executive leadership, the VP of FP&A will build and lead the FP&A function while serving as a strategic business partner to the executive team, private equity sponsors, and operational leaders. This individual will drive financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making to support the company's continued growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop and deliver actionable financial analysis and insights to executive leadership and private equity sponsors.
  • Partner with business leaders to drive operational performance, KPI development, and profitability initiatives.
  • Support M&A activities, including financial modeling, due diligence, valuation support, and integration planning.
  • Build and scale best-in-class FP&A processes, reporting tools, and financial models in a high-growth environment.
  • Enhance executive reporting, board presentations, dashboards, and management reporting packages.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and corporate development to support strategic initiatives and business growth.


Qualifications

  • Proven FP&A leadership experience within a high-growth and/or private equity-backed organization.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning expertise.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including financial modeling and post-acquisition integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership and provide strategic financial guidance.
  • Track record of building, improving, and scaling FP&A functions, processes, and teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory.
  • Experience working directly with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.
  • MBA and/or CFA designation is a plus.
