We are looking for a Vice President Finance to join our growing team. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tampa, FL, with flexibility to work from home.


Scope of Position

The Vice President of Finance is a strategic financial leader responsible for leading and scaling the company's finance organization to support continued growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role partners closely with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategy, strengthen financial infrastructure, and deliver meaningful insights that drive informed business decisions. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution, the Vice President of Finance oversees the Controller-led accounting operations team as well as the FP&A team. As a trusted business partner, this leader helps position the company for sustainable growth, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other significant business opportunities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team.
  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling.
  • Develop meaningful financial and operational reporting providing visibility into company performance, profitability, and key business metrics.
  • Enhance financial infrastructure, policies, and internal controls to support scaled organizational growth.
  • Oversee the Controller-led monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee the FP&A team to support monthly management reports, network contract performance, and customer underwriting.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop departmental budgets, evaluate investments, and improve financial performance.
  • Evaluate and implement financial systems, reporting tools, and automation initiatives that improve efficiency and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance practices.
  • Partner with Controller to manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, insurance providers, and other financial service organizations.
  • Present financial performance, forecasts, strategic analyses, and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing Finance organization, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide leadership and oversight for the Controller and FP&A functions to ensure strong financial stewardship and scalable business support.
  • Partner with Operations, Sales, Clinical, Technology, HR and Client Services to align financial planning with organizational priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term enterprise value.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA and MBA, CMA, or other advanced credentials preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including senior leadership roles within privately held, founder-led, high-growth, or middle-market organizations.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with C-Suite to drive strategic business decisions.
  • Proven experience building and scaling finance organizations during periods of organizational growth and transformation.
  • Experience developing financial infrastructure, forecasting models, dashboards, performance metrics, and executive reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, FP&A, treasury management, budgeting, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (especially MS Business Central), business intelligence tools, financial reporting platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business recommendations.
