About the Role

Coffee & Chill is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator to own content creation and social channels for Coffee & Chill Venice (@coffeeandchill). This is a role designed for someone early in their career who is excited about building community and driving growth for a startup in the social wellness event space.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of building community through digital media and a desire to be creating content onsite at events on a frequent basis. They are savvy on social media and able to adapt to trends and algorithm changes. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, organized, and can adapt quickly. Most importantly, we are seeking a candidate who is passionate about our mission and already embodies the social wellness lifestyle. 

Responsibilities

• Own content creation and social media channels to ensure brand consistency and an active social media presence (minimum requirement of 4 feed posts per week)
• Capture content and act as on-camera personality, concepting, filming, and editing short-form content for Instagram and other social media channels
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends, cultural trends, memes, and algorithm updates
• Maintain social media calendar, identify content curation opportunities and key moments to promote upcoming events
• Attend all onsite events as well as key media opportunities to capture BTS and real-time social content
• Drive audience interaction, growth, and conversion to ticket sales through organic channels
• Engage with audience through comments, DMs, and tags to develop and maintain a strong digital community
• Track performance metrics and share insights on opportunities for growth
• Represent the Coffee & Chill brand and values

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience managing social media channels and creating content, ideally for a brand or company in the wellness space
• Proven experience driving engagement and increasing conversion through social media
• Analytical experience and deep understanding of Instagram as an organic marketing channel
• Skilled in graphic design and editing for short-form content
