What you'll do

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high-priority roles
  • Manage structured onboarding programs that set new hires up for success
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements including background checks and I-9 verification

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a liaison between employees and the Company’s PEO
  • Working closely with the Company’s PEO:
  1. Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution
  2. Support investigations into employee relations issues with fairness, discretion, and documentation rigor
  3. Support performance management processes including PIPs, coaching conversations, and annual reviews
  • Promote a culture of engagement, inclusion, and accountability across the organization

HR Administration

  • Oversee the company’s PEO relationship.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Administer benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries in coordination with the Company’s PEO
  • Communicate updates to HR policies and practices to remain current with federal, state, and local employment law
  • Generate HR reports and metrics to support leadership decision-making

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with IT to coordinate equipment provisioning, system access, and account set up for new hires
  • Track and manage laptops and assigned equipment inventory
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding execution

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a healthcare,  professional services organization or remote-first environment
  • Basic knowledge of employment law (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEOC)
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy requirements
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, workflow management systems (e.g., Monday.com), expense management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of discretion
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, growing company

What we offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Vacation and Sick Leave Plans
  • Remote-first, flexible work environment
  • Opportunity to shape HR practices in a growing, mission-driven company
  • Pay Range: $50,000 - $70,000, depending on experience
