About The Role

The Human Resources Coordinator at Slipstream plays a vital administrative role within the HR department. This position involves supporting the HR Lead with a variety of functions including maintaining employee records, managing onboarding processes, assisting with payroll procedures, and providing daily administrative support to all employees. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality. They will serve as a key point of contact for HR-related inquiries, ensuring smooth communication and efficient HR operations. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or 3-5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Outlook, MS Office, and related communication tools.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests from employees and management.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding processes through the HRIS system, ensuring a seamless experience for new employees.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions for all W2 new hires, providing necessary information and support.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant digital records of employee information in accordance with federal regulations.
  • Perform I9/E-Verify procedures and background checks for all new W2 employees.
  • Support performance management processes, including tracking appraisals and development plans.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to improve HR processes and documentation.
  • Assist in payroll processing activities and ensure timely and accurate data entry.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and maintain positive employee relations.
