Title: Activation Project Manager

Duration: Contract through 2030

Location: Will be remote until about 2029 (occasionally may need to come onsite). Towards the end of the project however, they will be onsite frequently. Travel/Hotels will be expensed

Pay Rate: $60-80/hr

Must-Haves:

• 3–5+ years of healthcare activation experience supporting hospital openings, tower expansions, or large capital projects
• Experience with tools such as Smartsheet, PMWeb, or similar project management platforms
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional project teams in complex healthcare environments
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and activation/transition planning
• Proven ability to manage project schedules, risks, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Plusses:

• Familiarity with activation command center operations and go-live support models
• Background working within UC system or public sector healthcare environments

Summary:

• The Activation Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of activation and transition activities. This role is responsible for ensuring operational readiness across clinical, facilities, IT, and support service workstreams, from early planning through go-live and stabilization.
• This individual will act as a key liaison across stakeholders, driving alignment, tracking progress, and managing risks to ensure a seamless hospital activation. The ideal candidate brings prior hospital activation experience, strong project leadership, and the ability to operate in a highly complex, fast-paced environment.
• Activation work for this tower includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure all departments, workflows, equipment, and systems are fully prepared for day-one operations.
