Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Front Desk Receptionist role based in Yakima, WA. The Front Desk Receptionist will greet visitors, manage the reception area, and provide a professional first point of contact for clients and partners. Daily responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining organized records. The role also involves supporting attorneys and staff with basic clerical tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry. The receptionist will handle client check-in, ensure confidentiality, and coordinate with other team members to keep office operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
  • Proficiency in receptionist duties, including greeting guests, managing appointments, and directing inquiries.
  • Solid phone etiquette skills for handling multi-line phone systems, taking accurate messages, and routing calls appropriately.
  • Core clerical skills, such as filing, data entry, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized records.
  • Comfort with basic office technology and software (email, calendars, word processing, and spreadsheets).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and reliability in a busy office environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a legal or professional office setting is a plus.
