About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join our Executive Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for defining and executing the company's global commercial strategy to accelerate revenue growth, expand market share, strengthen strategic partnerships, and maximize long-term profitability.
The Chief Commercial Officer will oversee Global Sales, Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Channel Sales, Enterprise Accounts, Customer Growth, Revenue Strategy, and Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives. Working closely with Product, Finance, Operations, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership, the CCO will build a world-class commercial organization that delivers sustainable business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Strategy & Executive Leadership- Develop and execute the company's global commercial strategy aligned with corporate objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Lead all commercial activities to drive revenue growth, profitability, market expansion, and competitive positioning.
- Identify new markets, strategic partnerships, acquisition opportunities, and business development initiatives.
- Advise the CEO and Board of Directors on commercial strategy, market opportunities, and business performance.
- Build a high-performance, customer-centric commercial organization.
- Lead global Sales, Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Regional Sales, Account Management, and Channel Partner organizations.
- Develop scalable go-to-market (GTM) strategies that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Establish sales forecasting, territory planning, pricing strategies, and pipeline governance.
- Build executive relationships with key enterprise customers, strategic partners, investors, and industry stakeholders.
- Negotiate high-value commercial agreements, strategic alliances, and long-term partnership contracts.
- Oversee Commercial Operations, Revenue Planning, Sales Operations, Pricing Strategy, Contract Management, and Revenue Optimization.
- Optimize the entire commercial lifecycle from lead generation through customer acquisition, expansion, and renewal.
- Improve commercial productivity through process optimization, automation, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to improve forecasting accuracy and sales effectiveness.
- Ensure commercial execution aligns with overall corporate strategy.
- Partner with Marketing to define brand positioning, demand generation, digital marketing, and integrated GTM strategies.
- Support successful product launches and market expansion initiatives.
- Align product commercialization strategies with customer needs and competitive market dynamics.
- Improve customer acquisition efficiency and market penetration.
- Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
- Establish and monitor executive commercial KPIs, including:
- Annual Revenue Growth
- Gross Profit Margin
- Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
- Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
- Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
- Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
- Net Revenue Retention (NRR)

- Market Share Growth
- Present commercial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Utilize business intelligence and analytics to drive data-informed commercial decisions.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop Vice Presidents, Directors, and senior leaders across Sales, Business Development, Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Strategic Partnerships.
- Build a high-performing commercial organization focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and execution excellence.
- Develop succession planning, leadership development programs, and organizational capability initiatives.
- Foster a performance-driven culture focused on customer value and business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, International Business, or a related field.
- MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in Commercial Management, Sales Leadership, Business Development, Revenue Growth, or Strategic Partnerships.
- 10+ years of executive leadership experience leading global commercial organizations.
- Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth, market expansion, and commercial transformation.
- Strong expertise in enterprise sales, commercial strategy, go-to-market planning, pricing strategy, channel management, and business development.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience managing large commercial organizations.
- Outstanding leadership, negotiation, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills.
